In statistics, the relative impact is a comparison against other sets of data or situations, whereas absolute is measured against itself.
In Crobox’s case, we leverage these ways of measuring impact in the Message Performance section of the dashboard. Above, you see the “CTR” impact of “New collection” is 0.44% → 0.61%. This is the absolute impact or, in other words, the total amount the CTR has increased with badges using this message.
Next to this, you see the “Relative Impact” of +39.09%. This means that the difference between 0.44% and 0.61% is an uplift of 39.09%.
