Analytics
Track Sagent performance in the Dashboard tab and explore conversation data in Ask Analytics.
The Analytics area shows how shoppers use Sagent and where the experience creates value. It helps you measure engagement, assess outcomes, and identify opportunities to improve.
Analytics includes two tabs:
Dashboard tracks performance trends with default metric cards.
Ask Analytics turns plain-language questions into charts and summaries.
Analytics measures Sagent engagement and conversation outcomes. It does not prove shopper satisfaction, purchases, or revenue unless a metric explicitly provides that data.
Filters and shared controls
Both tabs use the same controls:
Locale
Date range
Use these filters first. They define the data in both views.
Analytics data comes from Sagent conversation activity within the selected locale and date range. Dashboard cards aggregate those events. Ask Analytics generates views from the same filtered conversation data.
Use the same filter values when comparing Dashboard metrics with Ask Analytics results. This keeps the analysis consistent.
The available history depends on retained data and your selected date range. Monitoring retains individual conversation data for 30 days. Do not assume Analytics retains a longer period unless the interface returns data for it.
Best practices
Use Analytics regularly, not only after changes.
Start with Dashboard for a quick overview. Then use Ask Analytics to investigate a specific question.
When you find a useful view, add it to Dashboard.
